University of Alaska, Fairbanks KSUA is a student-operated college radio station that serves the University of Alaska Fairbanks and surrounding Fairbanks North Star Borough. The station is funded primarily from a portion of the Student Government Fee that students pay each semester. The broadcast license is held by the University of Alaska Board of Regents.
KSUA broadcasts on a frequency of 91.5 MHz, outside the "commercial" band of the FM spectrum. With a broadcast power of 3 kilowatts, KSUA can be heard throughout the Fairbanks area, even as far as Tok and Healy.
